Motion Sensor
A sensor that complements the functionality of the Viper. It is an indoor motion detector and works according to the PIR (Passive Infrared) principle. Thermal radiation detection of the (human) body when a person moves in front of the sensor is the main function.
The motion detector can perform the following functions:
- lighting control by detecting presence in the room,
- control of two-state radiator valve drives – room temperature control,
- collecting information from magnetic sensors in windows and doors – information used in the heating system,
- detection of flooding by household appliances (washing machine, refrigerator, dishwasher, etc.) and measurement of floor temperature – if the sensor is installed in the floor.
